Kirby is a handsome, loving, 3 year old Lilac Point Mink Ragdoll and he needs a furrever family! He is a purebred ragdoll and comes with TICA(International Cat Association) certified pedigree and registration. Right now he lives with us in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. His future family must be willing to drive here to pick him up, we will not put him through the trauma of being on an airplane.
KIRBY’S STORY
About six months ago we rescued this wonderful guy to get him out of a bad situation. We are heartbroken that we are unable to keep him. Our older cat just refuses to get along with him which makes them both unhappy. We’ve done plenty of research and tried everything under the sun. We had hoped that with patience and taking it slowly things would get better but they have not. We love him to pieces but know that he could be happier elsewhere.
Kirby had a rough start to life but has come a long way! He is still shy with strangers but once he gets to know you he is a non stop purring machine and lives for snuggles. It only took him about a week to warm up to us. He really will make the perfect pet for the right family.
GET TO KNOW KIRBY
We would like to be 100% upfront and honest about him. He is a wonderful boy with many adorable qualities but also some quirks! Here they are:
The quirks:
1. He’s got plenty of cattitude and is very vocal around supper time!
2. He can tend to play pretty rough with other pets so he wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with a timid dog or cat or small children.
3. He does occasionally “love bite”, but its not very hard and never breaks skin. We also have some good tips for deterring him from doing this!
4. He’s also very particular with his litter box, he requires two, one for #1 and one for #2. His litter requires daily emptying otherwise he will let you know how displeased he is with his dirty litter by going to the bathroom on your furniture. If you are unwilling to work on this with him please don’t inquire about him.
5. He LOVES food, human food, dog food, garbage, it’s all good to him, so please be mindful of dishes left out or eating at his level.
6. He’ll steal food right off your plate if he gets the chance!
7. He also likes to gnaw on plastic so it’s important for his future home to not leave small objects lying around that he could choke on.
The adorable:
1. He is super affectionate and loves to sit on laps
2. Once he gets to know you he loves giving kisses
3. He is extremely handsome and has the softest fluffy coat!
4. If you are busy doing something he will happily sit and purr while watching you.
5. He is your typical ragdoll, he often flops to the ground and rolls on his back purring.
6. He also goes limp like a ragdoll when you pick him up.
7. He is very docile and will let you do pretty much whatever you’d like to him(roll him around, brush him, clip his nails, give him a waterless bath). As long as you’re touching him he’s happy!
8. He’s extremely smart, sometimes too smart!
9. He can be very playful and when he’s in that mode he behaves just like a kitten, it’s really cute!
10. He has this extremely cute habit: If his water dish is half full he’ll use his paw to drink it! Here is a video of him doing that on youtube:
WHAT WE WILL BE SENDING KIRBY HOME WITH
We will provide his furrever family with his:
1. Vaccination records (All of his vaccinations are up to date)
2. Blood work records(we had pre-anesthetic blood work run before he was neutered)
3. 2 Litter Boxes
4. 2 Food bowls
5. Toys
6. Treats
7. His Christmas Stocking
8. He is currently being fed Go! Natural Chicken/Turkey/Duck dry food and we would like him to stay on this or a food of equal quality. We will provide you with a weeks worth to get you started.

We are in no rush to rehome him and will keep him until the perfect family comes along for him. We care deeply about him and will provide his future home with as much support and tips as possible. Also, we would like to do a two month trial period. If at any point during the two months you feel he isn’t the right fit for your family you can bring him back to us and we’ll provide you with a refund. His happiness is what matters most to us. We’d like to stay in contact with his future family, maybe hear how he’s doing once or twice a year. In addition, his future family MUST agree to keep him as an indoor cat only, he is not built for the outdoors!
I have a rescued severly traumatized cat (broken tail, etc.) that I rescued 6 years ago and she is so nervous around Pandora that she has taken to urinating on the furniture. Pandora just wants to have fun but it is just not working out. Pandora is a lap lover, loves to listen to me sing, is curious in a real cat way and is lovely to look at. Please consider her for your pet.
Spayed Ragdoll,she is beautiful.
She is somewhat feral, her name is Sasha.
I am becoming increasingly concerned about her outdoor safety.I want her to have a loving indoor home.I think she would adjust.I am not able to bring her indoors,my boyfriend will not allow any more animals.Sometimes she will venture in just a little bit and then run back out.Like I said I think she would adjust somewhere w/a little time.
Snickerdoodle is a wonderful loving cat that needs to be placed in a single animal family. His mom died just after Christmas and he was her one and only. I am her niece who has Snickerdoodle right now but I have a Golden Retriever and Snickerdoodle doesn't like him at all. I could really use some help as I look for a good home for him

Tiger Lily is British! She is a purebred Ragdoll from London where we purchased she and her sister as kittens, before moving home to California We were devastated to lose her sister a year ago. She is neutered and a very lovable little lady. She is an indoor cat but loves being outside on our second floor balcony in the daytime. She is very sweet with a cute little face and gets along just fine with our Boston Terrier, Chloe so would be fine with a puppy. We are re-homing her as our kids are now out of the house and we will be traveling and hate leaving her alone or in boarding often.
She is a lovely color with thick, elegant fur. No health problems though she can get bird mites if she is out on balconies with birds (like ours) so would need the prescription Frontline flea medicine if you anticipate this type of setting. She is very affectionate and loves attention. We have always fed her high quality dry food. We've had a kitty 'potty' - automatic for a few years, but she is fine iwth regular kitty litter as well. We want her to go to a loving home. She would make a wonderful companion for an older person that is home full time or a family with kids that love kitties.
She still has a touch of the Brit in her I'm sure- very polite and ladylike!

From first owner: "neutered, front declawed male cat. Mild temperment and good with kids and dogs, not so much with other cats. He is a healthy and friendly cat that loves to snuggle. He prefers indoors, but will go out occasionally. He is purebred, but I never filed the papers. I never dreamed I would need them. Special needs son is allergic and it is not safe for him to stay outside."

Gorgeous girl, spayed, declawed. My dog rescue group pulled her from a shelter. Unfortunately I am very allergic to her and need to find her a permanent home. She is very sweet, always uses her litter box and is not aggressive at all with my son, our dog or our cat. She just minds her own business.

Age 7 purebread Ragdoll, neutered male Indoor cat. Clover is used to having his claws clipped and only uses his scratching post to scratch. He eats only hard cat food and drinks water. He does not like people-food. He always uses his litterbox. He has an average temperament and is a lazy about 75% of the time, but does love when you play with him & his favorite toy, "da bird" feather on a string. Clover is in need of his "Forever Home" because I'm unable to care for him. I have long hours at work and an out-of-home commitment to helping raise my niece (I am home about one hour per day). Lately he is a little bit sad and not taking care of his grooming - he is longing for attention! He loves companionship and sits next to you rather than on your lap. He is loyal and purrs when he is pet, and likes to sleep by your feet at night. During the day he'll sleep whatever room you go on his cat condo or cat furniture with a stoop that he can look out of window. He is a little slow to warm up to house guests but likes to be in the same room as everyone to watch all the action.

He was born in August of 2011, neutered, registered blue bi-color. His name is Oliver aka Oli he isn't declawed but is good about using his scratch post. Email pcasper2828@hotmail.com for more information. I'm just not home at all because my boyfriend is allergic to cats so I'm always at his house and its not fair to Oli...he loves to lay in your lap and give kisses follows you everywhere and sleeps on my pillow the few nights I'm home. He does very well with dogs but will not let them know when it's too much so need to keep an eye out for him!

I got Sara on July 2,2012. Her owner had to give her away because her little boy was allergic. I was told that she was 13 weeks old then. I don't know a lot about Ragdolls and I'm not sure if she is a purebred or not. She didn't come with any papers.I do know she is beautiful and her fur is very soft. She does kinda flop in my arms when I pick her up. There are also times when she doesn't wanna be bothered. When I hold her she purrs like crazy and if I stop petting her she will either nudge or nip at my hand til I pet her again. She's very sweet and well mannered. She is litter trained and never goes anywhere but the litter box. She's an indoor cat but always tries to sneak out the door anyway. She's quick so we have to be careful when we go out. I am rehoming her because she is not really happy here. We have 10 cats and a dog. She hates the dog. She will play with some of the cats but tends to cuff at the others. Mostly she just keeps to herself or hides. I want her to be happy and not feel like she needs to hide all the time. She should go to a home with no dogs and only one or two younger cats that she can play with. I think that would be best for her. She doesn't like water. She will climb sometimes and use a scratching post. She doesn't follow us around or sleep with us but she does like attention. She prefers to sleep in a chair or on a shelf. She eats wet or dry food and likes treats. She is not spayed yet.

Esther is a eight to twelve month old seal point mitted (with a white chin!) ragdoll mix kitten. Esther is fully vetted (spayed, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, vacinnated, wormed) and ready to go her forever home. This darling little girl was rescued from a kill shelter in the Houston area. She is initially a little hesitant of new people, so she will need to go to a cat experienced household that will give her lots of love, petting and play. Once she trusts you, Esther is a darling little girl. As is common with the ragdoll breed, Esther does tend to be "mouthy" (will give love bites, nips to warn, ect); most ragdolls outgrow this tendency with proper training - but she would not be suitable for a household with young children. Esther does great with other cats and with dogs.

George is a lovely Blue Point Bicolor Ragdoll. In his youth, he was a show cat. We have only had George about a year and a half. We are looking for another home for George because my husband developed asthma after we got him. His doctor recommended getting rid George. George is neutered, does not spray and still has his claws. He is strictly an inside cat who loves to snuggle and is quite a purr box. He likes lying on the back of the couch and sleeping with me at night. Believe it or not, he even comes when I call him for bedtime. He likes to chase a feather toy and sharping his claws on corrigated cardboard scratchers. George gets along well with cat friendly dogs. He prefers being the only cat in the household and will not share a litter box with another cat or tolerate a dirty box. Multiple boxes are a good idea. One oddity about George is he likes to lick and chew on plastic bags, so it's a good idea to keep those put away. If he is doing something you don't like, he stops if you hiss at him. The only doctor's visits (besides for shots, which are all up to date) were for an in-grown claw, a recurring watery benign cyst that can easily be drained, and a sinus infection. None of those are currently a problem. George will come with food, a bed, scratching pads, litter boxes, brush and comb, and records.
9-year-old Ragdoll, inside only, loves people, loves to be pet and brushed, will run TO you if he sees the brush, loves treats and will come if you say the word "treats". We just found out he has diabetes and we cannot afford to maintain his medical bill. We currently have an unpaid $390 vet bill. Also our landlord found out we have cats (3) and reminded us that our lease does not allow it so we are trying to rehome all of them instead of taking them to the shelter. He is very loving and tolerant of other pets in the house, he is also very good with small children and will leave the room if he doesn't want to be bothered.
He is extremely laid back, and loves attention. (Especially a good brushing.) He loves the ladies, but is also accepting of men, children and other pets. We've recently found out that he is also diabetic, however manageable with regular insulin shots, he also needs one of his fangs extracted. He is very quiet although he sometimes snores, comes if you say the word "treats" and has all of his claws in case he escapes outside. We are not able to maintain his vet bills due to loss of job and the landlord recently found out we have cats (3) and reminded us that we are not allowed to have indoor pets. when it rains it pours. Hopefully, someone who can take our special kitty can help us out soon!

About two months ago, I rescued a beautiful Ragdoll male from the beach at Heckscher Park on Long Island. I believe someone dumped him there since it is a remote location and for days, if not weeks, the cat did not stray from that one spot. It was as though he was waiting for someone to return to get him. But no one ever did.
I call him Sandy, and yes, he got his name before the superstorm. I am unsure of his age but he’s very big which may be deceiving because of his long, luxurious coat and mane. He has claws but does not use them when I handle him. As a matter of fact, though I brought a humane trap for the rescue operation, it was unnecessary because he let me, a stranger, carry him a very far distance to my car with no resistance. When I pick him up it truly is like holding a ragdoll!
Because I have 8 cats already and have recently incurred huge vet bills for two of them, I have been financially unable to bring him to the vet for an exam at this time so I am unsure of his approximate age or if he is neutered. However, I have treated him with flea/tick protection meds twice (once each month). Due to my many cats, Sandy refuses to stay inside for very long so he has been living outside in the woods behind my complex. While my cats have been tolerant of him, Sandy is not comfortable with them, but he’s making progress. I try to bring him in every night for a few hours for a meal and a nap, and I leave food and water outside for him every day.
He is an absolute mush -- very lovable and easily handled. He has a spectacular coat, beautiful markings and deep blue eyes. This photo does not do him justice.
I don't want to see him spend the winter outdoors even though he thinks he’s King of the Jungle as he climbs trees and perches himself for a morning of bird-watching. It really is a sight to see.
Ideally, I think he would prefer a home with a yard since being outside seems very important to him. But he also appears very comfortable indoors. He is a gem and he deserves a loving home.
Update 12/11/12 - Sandy went to the vet yesterday for a thorough exam. Thankfully, he tested negative for feline aids and feline leukemia. He also received his FVRCP, Rabies and Feline Leukemia vaccinations.
It was determined that Sandy is in fact a neutered male and his age is estimated at around 3 years old. He was scanned for a microchip but does not have one. He weighed in at 12.6 lbs. and my vet said he's very fit. Sandy also got a treatment of Revolution for cats. So he's in fantastic shape and ready to find his forever home.

Thomas is a 3 yr. old ragdoll born 9/29/2009. He is a male, Blue Point Mitted with a blaze. His coat is soft and so easy to care for. He doesn't mind getting his nails trimmed either. His nature is very gentle, follows me everywhere, friendly, and likes to play. He likes children and other cats. I don't know about dogs because he hasn't been around them, but I don't think it would be a problem. He's quite confident and outgoing.
He has no litter problems or food problems. He's healthy and TICA registered. I have all his vet records and documentation.
Please help us find a good home for him. We need to be in Japan the beginning of January, 2013. We think it's best not to put him through the long travel and we won't have a permanent place to live for awhile there. Thank you for your consideration.
This beauty is living at my mom's house at the moment but needs a new home. We got her in hopes of keeping her, but my husband's allergies flared up.
She's 4 years old, spayed, vaccinated, litter-box trained and negative for feline leukemia.
She is a super gentle and affectionate cat. I have an 18 month old and a 4 year old and she was very patient as the baby tugged on her and loved her. She also got along with my mom's cat and two dogs. Though she does get overwhelmed with too much activity all at once.

Bird is an 11 month old Lynx Point Ragdoll mix with a thick medium-length coat. He is a very affectionate boy and loves to be a lap-kitty. He follows me around the house and gets in my lap whenever he can and purrs- he has a very loud motor! He also likes to lay on my chest and nap when I lie down on the couch to watch a movie. He is still young and a very active kitty and requires several play sessions each day. We call him cat-dog because he has so many funny and cute behaviors- carrying large toys around in his mouth and moving his sleeping mat around the room to wherever he prefers it. We are looking for a new home for him as he has recently developed an aggression problem and bites when agitated; we have 3 small children and think he would be happier in a home without children that are so young. I believe that he would do well in a home with a cat that is older than him and would also be fine in a home with a dog. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations; not declawed. He has been an indoor-only pet.
Otto is a wonderful ragdoll kitten that just turned 1 on November 1st. He is a neutered mink bi color with the cutest little white tip on his tail. Not declawed and will not adopt to a home that will declaw. He is a purebred TICA registered cat originally purchased from a reputable breeder.
We are very sad to have to find another home for Otto but it seems like he needs more space than our small apartment can provide and he also is very lonely without another companion. We would prefer to find a new home for him that includes other cats or pets but if someone is home for most of the day that would be OK too.
Please email for more photos or information.

Bicolor Blue beautiful long hair lots of white mixed with blue mask around eyes and down back and tail.
Name is Irja- pronounced Eerie-ya. It's a swedish name. lol
She is up to date on all shots and is completely healthy-no long term illnesses, nothing.
She loves lying on laps and meows to everyone coming in the door instead of running and hiding.
I used to allow her to sleep on my bed but cannot anymore due to VERY bad allergies, which is the reason for rehoming by the way...that cannot even be alleviated by meds of all sorts.
She can NOT go outside at all! She's never been outside and she'd probably die because for 3 years she's had no training in how to survive. She's only been inside.
She'd probably do very well in a home alone, meaning without other pets or children, though my thoughts seem to lean towards her being ok with another cat I very well may be wrong--since she's always been alone with me.
She eats one can of wet can of fancy feast food every night so be sure that this is something you can fit into your finances!
She's really beautiful and loves making "doughnuts" on tummies! lol
